When is torture torture?

It’s safe to say that if the acts described in the torture report had been committed against American troops, people like Dick Cheney would be singing a different tune.

Conservative America lobbed you a softball with their attitudes about the torture report, and you didn’t disappoint. This ‘toon hits it out of the park.

At-least we have an administration which steadfastly refuses to investigate anyone for torturing people. The message is clear: torture is a-okay in the United States of America. If someone is a really really bad person (like suspected Al-Qaueda sympathizers or black people) they have no rights and you won’t get in any trouble at all for torturing them.

I am continually amazed at the misuse of context in people’s reasoning about torture. You nailed it with this one.
