Have you noticed that 60 – 90% of the laws in NYC have turned out to be “unnecessary”?
Unnecessary for keeping the city functioning and safe anyways. They sure collect a lot of revenue though. Who suspected that NYC was basically functioning in the manner of those little speed trap towns where much of their budget came from the effect of a hard to see sign that suddenly and drastically lowered the speed limit on a heavily traveled stretch of road?
The NYPD Weather Channel: Heavy clouds of suspicion over most black and latino neighborhoods throughout the day. Moderate chance of a hail of police bullets in the low 50′s, along with strong winds of discontent. Short period of sunshine into the NYPD’s questionable practices, immediately followed by a blizzard of denials, and self-righteous indignation from the NYPD’s union leaders.
