Shooting Backwards

Of Obama’s initiatives, this was among the most fiercely filabustered. Can’t see why. Arms are already freely available. Russia sold thousands of containers of AK47s for the equivalent of $1 a pound on the open arm market outside USA, a price which any megalomaniac dictator could afford to subjugate masses of some underdeveloped country. In 1990s Rwanda instead they used machetes because bullets cost too much. The extent of cruelty to which humans are capable is depressing. The lack of good will is shocking, especially when you consider fair trade benefits everyone.
